-I love how children's minds are naturally so inquisative. I came downstairs the other day to a cute little note sitting beside a grape warning me that an expirement was in the works. Such a simple activity that requires no special materials or supplies to be purchased; maybe that is why I wouldn't think of something like this! Anyways, for approximately a month my two eldest kidlets were continually checking in on the grape to see any difference. It even prompted them to put a "control" grape in place; My three year old decided he wanted to make a grape too, so he stuck his in the freezer. When that didn't work, he added water to it...after the water froze, took the blowdryer to it, and when it didn't melt fast enough, tried to assign me to the task lol- Anways, the grape eventually ended up soggy, swollen and I had to throw it out befor he decided to eat it, like he did to his sisters grape, or shall I say raisin!
Anyways, the process took us about 1 month, we live in the desert so it would probably take longer for more humid climates. And although, my preschooler ended up eating his sisters raisin- I don't recommend that as it probably isn't the most sanitary way to make and store a dehydrated fruit!
I am a wife and a mother of 3. 5 if you include my asshole cats. But that is another story. Here I share my favorite crafts, printables and activities that can be done with children. This is probably the most active page of mine, as being a mother is full time and as much as I love cosmetics etc. Recording the videos is a challenge to say the least with 3 little ones running around!
