I am all about any activity that will encourage my
kids to read and learn. So a basic bookmark is a
pretty obvious craft for the kids. This particular project is great for any age, but because of the
cutting, laminating, and braiding, this version is
geared towards the older children so the little ones
will need quite a bit of help. This is why it loses
some cupcakes on my rating system.
Encourages the development of the following Skills:

yarn and tying (if able)
Social: Following directions to complete a finished product.

order to complete a task.
Emotional: Through creativity expression of one’s identity and mood, self-esteem and pride with the completion of a task.
